For 6th December 2008: Young Greens are planning three prolonged campaigns against climate change for the next Global Day of Action Against Climate Change.  There will be a roadside art gallery showing the effects of climate change, a street drama campaign, slogan boards put up all over the inland. There will also be a massive banner campaign in Colombo, some ambient campaigns and a mobile movie screening of movies around the climate change topic. There is a policy level action planned consisting of round table discussions for various players in climate topic including  Economists, Youth, Media, Politicians, Diplomats, Activists.

On December 8th 2007, Young greens from Sri Lanka pasted Dec 8 campaign posters along with Wanted BUSH posters in major towns.

For December 8th 2007 Sri Lanka will be having a 3 minute electricity off campaign to support the UN climate talks and other campaigns all around the world. We are asking everyone to hit their energy user equipments at 10 am on December 8th and asking every business to follow the theme and support the action.
